ABOUT US
KrossRoads Performing Arts, a non-profit organization based in Massachusetts, intends to provide a multilingual platform designed to cultivate and collaborate with various forms of art including theater, musical, dance performances and other visual arts.
The word “KrossRoads”, a play on crossroads, suggests a situation where different paths of life collide and we are faced with dueling choices. At moments like these, finding our true passion and connecting with our true selves makes our journey more interesting and worthwhile. At KrossRoads Performing Arts, we would like to encourage original and creative work to connect with our true passions.
Art doesn’t just reflect the world — it engages with it. Today’s broader audience likes to hear about human struggle and our power to win over them. KrossRoads Performing Arts is founded by first generation immigrants to United States of America but through their work they intend not to draw boundaries. At KrossRoads , they believe, stories need to be multidimensional and a reflection of our current time and society where we can represent ourselves in our full humanity.

Jayati Banerjee
Despite being a science major and spending more than a decade in corporate jobs, Jayati has always identified herself mostly with music, poetry, literature, movies and of course, theater. While growing up she actively participated in various stage activities and found her true passion in composing poetry and theater scripts. After she migrated to a different country, traveling to different places and meeting people from diverse backgrounds further enabled her to truly express herself. Since 2011 she has scripted and directed several plays in the Boston area. Some of her recent work includes "Checked In", "Timepass -jogar e jibon", "Abarta" and "Fail Kara Do Yaro". In her work Jayati has tried to explore contemporary life and human relationships in our current time and society. Outside of theater, Jayati is a two-time marathoner and believes running her first marathon in 2017 at Boston was the most rewarding and transforming experience in her life so far.
Through KrossRoads Performing Arts, Jayati hopes to collaborate with other creative minds and build a foundation for promoting self-expressions in various forms of arts.
